Cat Gives Birth to Puppies

November 16th, 2006 by PreZ

In this amazing story/bs I think, an ordinary house cat gives birth to puppies.

Brazilian student Cassia Aparecida de Souza, 18, holds her cat Mimi together with what Cassia claims are Mimi’s own offsprings born with dog traits last Friday, three months after mating with a neighbour’s dog, in the southern Brazilian city of Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul state, November 15, 2006. A geneticist from the Passo Fundo University plans to take blood samples from the animals to verify the claim by Cassia and her husband Rogerio that the puppies are part of Mimi’s litter of six, of which the three that were born with cat features died soon after birth, leaving the surviving three dog-like offsprings. 2. I do not think this is biologically possible. There is just to large genetic difference between dog and a cat.

I’m betting that this is just some unfortunate birth defect that has nothing to do with being humped by a dog.

  3. I’m betting that this is a picture of a woman holding two puppies next to a cat that is not related in any way to the puppies. Pretty amazing.

  4. cat haveing puppies rubbish , a dog penertrating a cat would kill it or do terrible damage … the fact is the cat lost her kittens and adopted 3 abandoned pups .

  5. cats carry young for 31 days ,, dogs carry for 63 days ,,,, can you really see a cat carry pupies to full term of 63 days, can you imagin the size of her belly it would rip her guts open , and think a bout it ,the puppies would need to be full term of 63 days to be fully developed, and the kittens would certainly die being inside the mother for a further 32 days

  6. This is genetically impossible as they are different species, from what I’ve learnt about Cat behaviour the mothers have a strong maternal instinct so uponthe death of her own kittens she probably went searching for another litter to help look after (cats will split litters between mothers to ease raising), and probably found the pups near by and adopted them for her own.
PS: I bet she’s not a Biology student.

  8. This is bullshit. Not biologically possible, seventh grade biology told me that. Whoever believes this is a complete tool. I found this on stumbleupon and im suprised anyone would be dumb enough to believe this shit.
