The Dog has been arrested. The famous bounty hunter who usually does the arresting was arrested in his home today by 7 U.S. Marshalls along with his brother Tim (Young Blood) and his son Leland.

A representative from the Marshal’s office had a different version of what happened in Hawaii.”There were 7 deputy marshals who went to Chapman’s home,” said Jay Beber, from the U.S. marshal’s office in Hawaii.”We knocked on the door to announce that we were U.S. marshals. … Mr. Chapman was compliant and very respectful.”

Dog and his son Leland and brother Tim were arrested because he arrested Max Factor heir Andrew Luster on June 18, 2003, in Puerto Villarta, Mexico. Dog was jailed at the time because bounty hunting is illegal in mexico.

The United States and Mexico have an extradition treaty and that is why Dog was arrested today. He faces being extradited to Mexico and a possible 8 year sentence for posting bond in Mexico and never returning for a court hearing.
