Why would he snorkel in his signature brown shirt and shorts? I would expect him to wear a wetsuit or at lest some sort of swimming gear in addition to the mask.

i dont think that any animal should be killed because he died … it was a freak accident, and it was know ones fult. all stingrays attack that way, preditors attack them the from above them so its there only defence. steve died doing what he love and i dont think he would want any animal to die because of him passing away. truth be told if he haddent pulled the stinger out he might still be alive but its human nature to pull somthing foren out if it enters your body.

My family loved Steve, Terri, Bindi & little Bob. He will be sorely missed in my book. My daughter did a detailed report on his life mission & his death. Her teacher’s comment was her story was the best he had seen in his fifteen years as a teacher. (Wow) I’m proud of her. Actually Steve is one of the reasons my children are big animal lovers. By watching him they know to have respect for all animals and their territories. Thanks to him for teaching our children to respect all animals no matter what… We will miss you Steve.
