July 25th, 2006 by PreZ

The world’s biggest hole is located in Russia. The gaint hole is actually a diamond mine in Eastern Siberia near the town Mirna. It is 525 meters deep and 1.25 km in the diameter.Since I really didnt have much to post today check this out :)

The following truck loader is one of the biggest in the world - lenth 13.36 meters, width 7.78 meters and height 6.65 meters.

There is a suction created above the hole that has caused helicopter crashes so now all flights above the hole are prohibited.

  8. I’ve done my University project about Diamonds and i read this before.

Take a look on the National Geographic presentation for more detail. It said a truck would take TWO Hours to surface from the bottom!! and people would work under the tempreture of -50F to -70F.
